Price over time
What changed, roughly
This is a lightweight timeline. It avoids pretending to be perfect and shows what we think the typical price was around each period.
Validation score
Not scientific, but helpful. More evidence and clearer sources pushes the score up.

Method and accuracy notes
What this is and is not
Freddoflation tracks the typical retail price of a single Freddo bar in the UK over time. It is not an official dataset, and it does not adjust for inflation.
Where possible, points should be supported by evidence such as packaging, receipts, retailer listings, or archived references. If evidence is weak, the point is marked medium or low confidence.
How to improve the data
- Provide a photo of packaging showing a printed price, year and region if possible.
- Provide a receipt or retailer listing screenshot with a date.
- Provide an archive link or reputable reference for the stated price.
Submit evidence
Send a screenshot or photo with a date and a short note. I will add it and tag confidence accordingly.
